Attorney – Legal Services

About the role

Halliburton is seeking a qualified Attorney to join its legal team in Cairo. The role involves providing sound legal advice on a range of business matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, and supporting the company’s operations in the global energy sector.

Key responsibilities

• Advise the company on simple to moderately complex legal issues related to its business activities.
• Act as a company advocate and provide guidance on legal rights, obligations, and best practices.
• Research statutes, regulations, and judicial decisions and apply them to specific business contexts.
• Interact with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders to address legal concerns.
• Manage relationships with outside counsel under the supervision of a senior attorney.
• Maintain strict adherence to the professional code of ethics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required for the United States.
• Minimum three years of relevant legal experience.
• Active license to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction(s).
