Audit & Assurance Manager – Financial Sector

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an Audit & Assurance Manager for the Financial Services sector in Cairo. The role involves leading audit engagements, ensuring high‑quality delivery, and providing constructive challenge to meet stakeholder expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Build trust and credibility by addressing multiple stakeholder needs while challenging engagement issues.
• Review transaction flow documentation and test relevant controls early in the audit cycle.
• Suggest mitigating testing when controls are ineffective, applying professional skepticism to assess fraud risk and potential misstatements.
• Identify opportunities to add value and integrate specialist expertise across the firm.
• Participate in group risk assessment and prepare clear referral instructions for component auditors.
• Conduct regular file checks, maintain appropriate file structures, and ensure all audit points are cleared.
• Engage early with scheduling, communicate expectations, and manage deadlines for the extended engagement team.

Required profile
