Automation / Control Technician – Electrical

About the role

We are looking for an Automation / Control Technician to join our technical team at the Siegwart factory in Helwan, Cairo. The role involves maintaining and operating automated production lines while ensuring high reliability and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and operate automated production lines.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and control panels.
• Work with PLC systems, including Siemens and Schneider.
• Handle VFDs, sensors, motor control, and other industrial automation equipment.
• Support hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Contribute to improving operational efficiency and production reliability.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an industrial environment.
• Strong background in PLC and automation systems.
• Experience with VFDs and motor control.
• Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams.
• Previous experience in heavy industry is a plus.
