Back End Developer (PHP/Laravel) – Remote

About the role

Speero is looking for a skilled PHP/Laravel Back End Developer to design, build and maintain the server‑side components of its automotive marketplace and multi‑tenant B2B SaaS platform. This is a full‑time remote position where you will own features from conception through production.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain APIs and server‑side logic for the marketplace and SaaS platform.
• Develop and evolve database schemas, ensuring scalability and data integrity.
• Integrate third‑party services and optimize performance, security and reliability.
• Manage deployment pipelines, queues, caching layers and monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with front‑end developers, product managers and other stakeholders to define requirements and refine features.
• Participate in code reviews, write technical documentation and contribute to process improvements.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in PHP and Laravel, including Eloquent, service containers, queues, events, middleware and testing.
• Hands‑on experience building or operating multi‑tenant SaaS applications and understanding tenant isolation, routing and usage‑based billing.
• Proven ability to work independently in an AI‑first engineering culture and ship production‑ready code.
• Experience using Claude Code for planning, implementation and testing.
