Bag Designer – Leather Handbag Design Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a talented bag designer to join a new collection development project. Working under a defined creative direction, you will take ideas from concept sketches through to production‑ready technical packages, focusing on leather handbags.

Key responsibilities

• Develop bag design sketches aligned with the creative direction.
• Provide design suggestions and refinements throughout the development cycle.
• Create detailed technical drawings and production‑ready tech packs.
• Define structure, proportions, and functionality of each bag.
• Select appropriate leather, hardware, and finishing details.
• Support sampling and collaborate closely with manufacturers during prototyping.

Required profile

• Proven experience in handbag or leather bag design.
• Strong understanding of bag construction and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to produce accurate technical drawings and comprehensive tech packs.
• Experience working with factories or leather workshops is highly preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to execution quality.
