BIM Architecture Team Leader

About the role

The BIM Architecture Team Leader will head the architectural BIM team, ensuring delivery of accurate, coordinated models across all project phases. This senior position is responsible for implementing BIM standards, managing team performance, and aligning BIM outputs with project and construction requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and manage the Architectural BIM team on assigned construction projects.
• Plan, distribute and monitor BIM tasks, ensuring alignment with project priorities and deadlines.
• Develop and maintain architectural BIM models using Autodesk Revit and related software.
• Review and approve models, drawings, families and BIM deliverables produced by the team.
• Coordinate architectural models with structural, MEP, infrastructure and other disciplines, leading clash detection and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans, LOD requirements, BEP, and company standards.
• Provide technical guidance, training and performance feedback to BIM Engineers, Coordinators and Modelers.
• Manage BIM information exchange through the project’s Common Data Environment (CDE) and support quantity surveying activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related design discipline.
• 8‑10 years of architectural/BIM experience, preferably in construction or engineering environments.
• Proven experience leading an Architectural BIM team on large‑scale projects.
• Strong understanding of architectural construction methods, detailing and shop‑drawing processes.
