About the role
We are seeking a British Key Stage 2 Teacher for Years 5‑8 to join Manhattan Schools in Maadi, Cairo. The role involves delivering engaging lessons based on the British Curriculum and fostering a positive, safe learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons based on the British Curriculum.
- Create a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
- Monitor and assess students’ academic progress.
- Apply effective classroom management strategies.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with parents and colleagues.
- Participate in school activities and events.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant field.
- Previous experience teaching Years 5‑8.
- Experience in a British or International School.
- Strong knowledge of the British Curriculum.
- Excellent command of English.
- Strong classroom management and lesson‑planning skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Passion for teaching and supporting students’ development.
