Broadcast Technician – Live Video Production

About the role

We are seeking a Broadcast Technician to support live and recorded video productions. The role blends hands‑on operation of broadcast equipment with troubleshooting expertise to deliver high‑quality content across digital and traditional platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor cameras, audio systems, lighting, video switchers and streaming gear for studio, on‑location and live events.
• Maintain signal integrity, configure encoders, and ensure seamless live streaming and broadcast distribution.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in real time and perform routine maintenance on all production equipment.
• Collaborate with producers, directors, editors and other crew members to guarantee smooth technical execution.
• Maintain equipment inventory, recommend repairs or replacements, and stay current with emerging broadcast technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Media, Broadcasting, Film Production, Electronics or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in video production, live broadcasting or related environments.
• Ability to work under pressure during live productions and flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to travel between cities when production demands.
