BSS Deployment Senior Engineer

About the role

The BSS Deployment Senior Engineer leads end‑to‑end implementation of new telecom sites and network expansions across e&'s radio and transmission infrastructure. This position blends hands‑on technical execution with field‑team leadership to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, to standard, and in close coordination with cross‑functional stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage implementation schedules for new sites and expansion projects in line with monthly and annual targets.
• Coordinate with RF, FM, Acceptance, SRT, and Operations teams to secure all prerequisites before deployment.
• Lead, supervise, and provide technical support to field teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Conduct site visits to verify installations meet e& technical standards and quality benchmarks.
• Act as the primary BSS liaison between Project Management and field execution teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and new staff on best‑practice deployment methods.
• Deliver implementations across multi‑vendor environments, including Ericsson, Huawei, and ZTE.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in telecom BSS deployment or network rollout.
• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong understanding of radio and transmission network rollout processes.
• Proven ability to manage field teams and coordinate with multiple internal stakeholders.

Required skills

• Installation and integration of BTS, NodeB, eNodeB, and gNodeB equipment.
• Experience with TDD, FDD, and 5G technologies.
• Working knowledge of Ericsson, Huawei, and ZTE equipment platforms.
