About the role

The University of Hertfordshire hosted by Global Academic Foundation is seeking full‑time faculty members for its Business School in Cairo. Positions are open at Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor levels across Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, Project Management and Business Technology.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver undergraduate (and potentially postgraduate) courses aligned with international standards.
• Prepare, update and maintain syllabi, teaching materials and assessment tools.
• Lecturing, leading seminars, workshops and supervising student projects.
• Provide academic advising, mentorship and regular feedback to students.
• Conduct and publish scholarly research in reputable journals and conferences.
• Participate in curriculum development, accreditation and quality‑assurance activities.
• Engage in departmental committees, university meetings and industry outreach relevant to the discipline.

Required profile

• PhD in Business, Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, Project Management, Business Technology or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated teaching experience in one or more of the listed business areas.
• Evidence of scholarly activity such as peer‑reviewed publications, conference presentations or applied research.
• Strong pedagogical skills, including curriculum design and use of educational technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and ability to work in a multicultural academic environment.
• Experience with quality assurance, accreditation processes and academic governance is an advantage.
