Camera Operator

About the role

Fawry Plus is seeking a skilled Camera Operator to join its media production team in Smart Village, Giza. You will be responsible for capturing high‑quality video content for a variety of projects, ensuring technical excellence and creative vision.

Key responsibilities

• Operate professional DSLR and mirrorless cameras, adjusting ISO, shutter speed, aperture and white balance as needed.
• Set up and use stabilization gear such as tripods, gimbals and sliders to achieve smooth shots.
• Collaborate with directors and editors to plan shot composition, framing and camera angles.
• Record basic on‑set audio and coordinate with the audio team for optimal sound capture.
• Assist in lighting setup and ensure proper exposure for each scene.
• Transfer footage and support post‑production workflows, including basic editing.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Camera Operator or in a similar video production role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends if required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with DSLR and mirrorless cameras.
• Understanding of camera settings: ISO, shutter speed, aperture, white balance.
• Experience using stabilization equipment (tripod, gimbal, slider).
• Basic audio recording knowledge.
• Familiarity with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
