Case Management Coordinator – Refugees & Migrants

About the role

The Case Management Coordinator will work closely with caseworkers and the Senior Child Protection Officer to deliver comprehensive case management services for unaccompanied and separated refugee and migrant children in Giza and Cairo governorates.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct individual assessment interviews and prepare assessment forms to identify children’s needs.
• Support the Senior Child Protection Officer in providing full case management support to each child.
• Explain assessment procedures and available services to children and ensure their informed consent.
• Coordinate Best Interest Assessments (BIA) and, where applicable, Best Interest Determinations (BID).
• Develop, monitor, and update detailed care plans for each child.
• Review Best Interest Assessments drafted by caseworkers and provide feedback.
• Make timely referrals to appropriate service providers and coordinate with partner organisations.
• Accompany children to external appointments when required.
• Participate actively in internal case management meetings and reporting.

Required profile

• Experience working with child protection or humanitarian case management.
• Ability to interact safely and sensitively with children and young people (Child Safeguarding Level 3).
• Strong coordination and communication skills to work with caseworkers, partners, and senior staff.
• Knowledge of assessment and care‑plan development processes.
