CCTV Operator

About the role

The CCTV Operator ensures continuous monitoring of all video surveillance equipment within an Accor hotel, safeguarding guests, staff, visitors and property. The role requires vigilant observation, rapid reporting of incidents and strict adherence to security protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor all CCTV cameras and related surveillance systems throughout the shift without interruption.
• Detect and report suspicious activities, security breaches or unusual incidents to the Security Supervisor immediately.
• Record, document and file security incidents accurately and in a timely manner.
• Retrieve, review and preserve CCTV footage for authorized investigations.
• Verify proper functioning of cameras, monitors, recording devices and report any faults.
• Maintain confidentiality of all footage and security information.
• Assist security officers with real‑time information during emergencies.
• Monitor fire alarm, access‑control and other security systems where applicable.
• Keep accurate logs of incidents, equipment status and daily activities.
• Ensure the control room remains clean, organized and secure.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent minimum education.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work continuously under minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills for reporting incidents and coordinating with other departments.
• Willingness to participate in emergency drills and security training.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CCTV systems and surveillance equipment.
• Knowledge of fire alarm monitoring and access‑control systems.
• Ability to operate communication tools such as telephones, radios and intercoms.
• Basic troubleshooting of video recording devices.
