Center Physician – Plasma Donation Center

About the role

The Center Physician (CP) leads the medical aspects of plasma donation operations, ensuring donor safety and plasma quality. Reporting to the Center Manager and the Plasma Operations & Medical Director, the CP oversees the entire donation process and the medical staff.

Key responsibilities

• Select suitable plasmapheresis donors according to policies and clinical experience.
• Monitor compliance with medical procedures to protect donor safety and plasma integrity.
• Certify, train, and evaluate the center’s medical staff on donor assessment and company protocols.
• Conduct physical examinations and review donor documentation.
• Explain informed consent, obtain donor signatures, and discuss high‑risk behavior education.
• Notify and counsel donors testing positive for infectious disease markers (HBV, HIV, HCV, syphilis, etc.).
• Manage donor adverse events and provide appropriate medical care.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Medicine (essential); postgraduate studies preferred.
• Clinical experience in a GxP‑regulated environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong clinical judgment, assertiveness, and decision‑making ability.
• Excellent customer service, organization, and time‑management skills.
• Ability to lead and influence medical staff, enforce SOPs, and drive operational improvements.
