Center Quality Assurance Specialist (Plasma Center)

About the role

The Center Quality Assurance Specialist supports the Center Quality Manager in ensuring that all activities at the plasma donor center comply with internal standards, Egyptian regulations and cGMP requirements. The role involves reviewing documentation, supervising equipment quality, and maintaining SOPs to guarantee product safety and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct periodic reviews of donor center records and equipment quality control data.
• Audit equipment incident logs and verify sample shipments before release.
• Inspect and release incoming supplies, ensuring they meet quality specifications.
• Perform regular employee observations and document findings.
• Assist the Center Quality Manager in enforcing cGMP regulations and SOP adherence.
• Participate in the editing and updating of SOPs for donor‑center processes.
• Review documentation of unsuitable test results and manage disposition of affected units.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a health‑related science.
• Minimum two years of experience in a GMP or pharmaceutical environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality management principles and cGMP standards.
• High integrity, attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
