Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Executive Leadership Role

About the role

We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join the executive leadership team of a market‑leading organization operating across multiple countries in the Middle East. The CFO will act as a strategic business partner, driving financial performance, supporting sustainable growth, and ensuring robust governance.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and execution of the organisation's strategic and financial objectives as a senior executive.
• Develop and implement a financial strategy aligned with overall business goals.
• Partner with the CEO and senior leadership to improve business performance.
• Support the separation and transformation of the company from its wider group structure.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management.
• Strengthen financial controls, governance and risk‑management frameworks.
• Drive finance transformation initiatives, including automation and AI‑enabled capabilities.
• Provide strategic support for international expansion across the Middle East.
• Optimize operational efficiency, profitability and working capital.
• Present business cases, financial insights and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and the Board.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations and audit requirements.
• Develop financial models, KPIs and performance metrics to support institutional objectives.

Required profile

• Progressive finance leadership experience, minimum 12 years, including senior executive responsibilities.
• Previous senior finance role such as Global CFO, Finance Director or equivalent.
• Strong background in FMCG, manufacturing or logistics within large, complex organisations.
• International and global business exposure.
• Commercial acumen, strategic thinking and ability to balance strategy with hands‑on execution.
• Proven track record of leading large finance teams and developing talent.
• Experience driving business transformation, change management and digital/AI initiatives in finance.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and work effectively in a matrix environment.
