Civil Site Engineer

About the role

The Site Civil Engineer will supervise and execute civil and structural works on‑site, focusing primarily on concrete works. You will ensure that all activities follow approved shop drawings, technical specifications and project timelines, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily on‑site labor, foremen and subcontractors to achieve precise execution of structural works.
• Oversee concrete production and pouring, including formwork inspection, rebar layout, slump testing, and curing processes.
• Interpret and implement approved shop drawings, identifying and resolving structural clashes.
• Enforce engineering quality standards and occupational health and safety regulations.
• Perform material quantity take‑offs and coordinate timely requisitions.
• Prepare detailed daily and weekly progress reports for the Project/Site Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• 3–7 years of experience in contracting companies, with a proven track record in heavy concrete structures and civil works.
• Strong ability to read structural drawings and understand building codes and concrete specifications.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Advanced use of MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
