Civil Site Engineer – Logistics Park Project

About the role

The Civil Site Engineer will supervise and coordinate all civil construction activities for the Logistics Park project in East Port Said, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, budget control, and compliance with drawings and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil construction works on site.
• Verify that all activities follow approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants and stakeholders.
• Monitor progress and produce daily, weekly and monthly reports.
• Review shop drawings, method statements and material submittals.
• Conduct site inspections for quality, safety and environmental compliance.
• Identify issues and propose practical engineering solutions.
• Support QA/QC and HSE teams to meet company and regulatory standards.
• Validate completed quantities and assist in preparing payment certificates.
• Participate in planning, scheduling and resource optimisation.
• Attend site meetings and provide technical updates to management.
• Maintain accurate site records, inspection reports and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Registered with the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil construction, preferably in logistics parks, industrial developments, warehouses, ports or large‑scale commercial projects.
• Experience in Port Said or similar industrial/logistics environments is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete, steel structures, roads, pavements, drainage and infrastructure works.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with Egyptian Building Codes and international construction standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project (advantage).
