Classic Control Instructor

About the role

The Classic Control Instructor will join GFM ELECTRIC’s training team in Qesm El Maadi, Egypt, delivering comprehensive courses on classic industrial control systems. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on bridging traditional relay‑based control with modern Siemens automation and SCADA technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver classroom and hands‑on training programs covering electrical control circuits, relay logic, motor control and integration with SCADA.
• Prepare course materials, slide decks, and practical laboratory exercises.
• Conduct assessments and provide feedback to ensure learner competence.
• Continuously update training content to reflect current industry standards and project requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to align training with real‑world automation projects.
• Offer technical guidance on troubleshooting and maintenance of classic control hardware.
• Contribute to the improvement of the overall training portfolio and internal knowledge‑sharing initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in classic control systems, including relay logic, motor starters, protection circuits and industrial control panels.
• Hands‑on experience with Siemens‑based automation and familiarity with SCADA integration.
• Proven ability to develop structured curricula and practical lab activities for technical audiences.
• Effective teaching, presentation and communication skills.
• Experience troubleshooting AC inverters, DC converters, PLC modules and related equipment.
• Organizational and time‑management capabilities to handle multiple training sessions.
• Relevant degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation or a related field; certifications are a plus.
• Prior experience in industrial training or technical instruction is highly desirable.
