Clinical Pharmacist

About the role

Re3aya Pharmacy is seeking a full‑time Clinical Pharmacist to join its New Cairo location. The role focuses on patient counseling, medication safety, and supporting chronic disease management within a community pharmacy setting.

Key responsibilities

• Counsel patients on prescription and OTC medications, ensuring safe and effective use.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy, potential interactions, and therapeutic appropriateness.
• Monitor therapy outcomes and provide guidance on chronic disease, weight control, and lifestyle changes.
• Handle dispensing processes and coordinate with prescribers for clarification when needed.
• Document clinical interventions and support inventory control.
• Participate in health‑education initiatives and maintain a patient‑centered environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (BPharm/PharmD) or equivalent with a valid Egyptian pharmacy license.
• Experience in community or clinical pharmacy, preferably with chronic disease management and patient education.
• Strong attention to detail, ethical practice, and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Excellent communication and counseling skills with a non‑judgmental, patient‑focused approach.

Required skills

• Proficiency with pharmacy software and basic digital tools for dispensing, documentation, and reporting.
• Competence in compounding according to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
