Cloud Engineer

About the role

The Cloud Engineer will join FLO Clinics’ technology team in Al Jizah, Egypt, to design, build and maintain the cloud infrastructure that powers the clinic management platform. This is a full‑time, on‑site position focused on delivering secure, scalable and highly available services for healthcare providers.

Key responsibilities

• Provision, configure and optimise cloud resources across public cloud providers.
• Implement backup, recovery and disaster‑recovery strategies.
• Monitor system health, performance and security, and resolve infrastructure incidents.
• Collaborate with software development and operations teams to support CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Maintain access controls, networking components (VPCs, load balancers, DNS, firewalls) and container orchestration platforms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong background in cloud computing and infrastructure management.
• Proficiency with Linux system administration in production environments.
• Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) and basic schema management.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
