Cloud Security Engineer

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security dashboards, triage findings and drive end‑to‑end remediation.
• Shape infrastructure architecture and configuration with security and compliance as core considerations.
• Implement infrastructure changes hands‑on using DevOps practices, IaC, CI/CD and cloud configuration.
• Track emerging threats, CVEs and advisories, ensuring timely mitigation across systems.
• Partner with engineering teams to embed security throughout the development lifecycle.
• Support and maintain compliance requirements relevant to healthcare data.

Required profile

• Solid experience in a DevOps, SRE or cloud security role with hands‑on infrastructure work.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, containerised workloads (Docker, Kubernetes) and Terraform.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud security posture management tools.
• Understanding of vulnerability management and practical threat remediation.
• Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR (healthcare‑specific frameworks a plus).
• Proactive, ownership‑driven mindset with clear risk communication.
• English working proficiency and experience collaborating with AI tools like Codex or Claude.
