CMT Oversight Manager – Compliance Risk Assessment

About the role

The CMT Oversight Manager supports the Head of CMT Oversight & Awareness in driving the bank‑wide Compliance Risk Assessment (CRA) process and shaping the annual monitoring and testing plan. This role ensures that CMT activities follow a systematic, standardized methodology and that compliance risks are identified, tracked, and mitigated.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the annual CRA exercise, maintain Process Risk and Control (PRC) matrices, and coordinate with Compliance and Business Owners.
• Conduct check‑and‑challenge oversight on CMT reviews, track findings, and prepare status reports and dashboards for senior leadership.
• Collaborate with IT and data teams to develop and implement automated monitoring and testing tools, run regular exception monitoring, and maintain testing scripts.
• Review policies, processes, and procedures, identify gaps, propose improvements, and manage adoption with stakeholders.
• Prepare management reports, meeting packs, and presentations, while ensuring documentation supports audit readiness and regulatory examinations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Accounting or equivalent.
• 11‑12 years of experience in risk management or compliance within the banking sector.
• Strong background in compliance awareness and thorough understanding of compliance risk frameworks.
