Co Teacher - Learning Support Assistant Primary

About the role

The Egypt Education Platform is seeking a passionate Co‑Teacher to work as a Learning Support Assistant for primary students at GEMS British International School AlRehab. This position supports inclusive education by assisting the lead teacher and helping students with diverse needs succeed in a safe and engaging classroom.

Key responsibilities

• Support the class teacher during lessons and learning activities.
• Assist in planning, preparing, and organizing classroom resources.
• Provide individual or small‑group support to students as directed.
• Help maintain positive behavior and effective classroom management.
• Supervise students during class time, breaks, and school activities when required.
• Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (preferred).
• Fluency in English.
• Previous experience in a school or educational setting is an advantage.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Patient, supportive, and enthusiastic about working with children.
