Coach – Character Development & Wellbeing

About the role

The Coach role at Farid Academy is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo, Egypt. You will facilitate character development and wellbeing sessions for children and youth using the Academy’s structured curricula and learning tools.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans and deliver interactive workshops that promote character development, wellbeing and social-emotional learning.
• Monitor learner progress, document outcomes and contribute to the Academy’s impact measurement framework.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents and internal teams to ensure program delivery aligns with learner needs and organizational goals.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, attend training sessions and provide feedback to improve program content and coaching practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in coaching, teaching or facilitating programs for children and youth, preferably within educational or developmental settings.
• Strong communication, active listening and empathy skills, with the ability to build trust across diverse age groups.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Sciences or a related field (preferred) and fluency in English and Arabic.

• Proficiency with digital tools and educational technology platforms to support learning delivery.
• Ability to monitor learner progress and document outcomes effectively.
• Application of positive psychology and social-emotional learning principles in workshop facilitation.
