Commis III – Kitchen Assistant at a Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Commis III will support the kitchen team at Rixos Premium Seagate, ensuring safe preparation of all food items and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and quality in a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare potentially hazardous foods at correct temperatures following HACCP guidelines.
• Verify food quality and report any non‑conforming products to the manager.
• Assume full responsibility for the section when the supervisor is absent.
• Follow menu specifications, portion sizes, and presentation standards set by the Chef.
• Maintain a hygienic work area at all times in accordance with hotel policies.
• Report equipment failures and coordinate maintenance requests.
• Participate in training, energy‑saving, waste‑reduction, and food‑safety initiatives.
• Assist the Duty Manager with assigned tasks and uphold all hotel rules and regulations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or vocational qualification.
• Ability to learn and perform duties within three years of experience.
• Strong commitment to hygiene, safety, and teamwork.
• Positive attitude, professional appearance, and good interpersonal skills.
