Company Secretary – Corporate Governance

About the role
The Company Secretary will support ACO’s leadership by ensuring robust corporate governance and efficient administrative processes. Based in Alexandria, this full‑time position works on‑site, coordinating board activities and regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain statutory records and regulatory filings.
- Organise board and committee meetings, draft agendas and minutes.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and internal policies.
- Facilitate communication between management, shareholders and external stakeholders.
- Manage official documentation, contracts and policy reviews from a governance perspective.
- Support senior leadership and legal advisors in a fast‑paced consulting environment.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
- Professional certification in corporate governance or company secretarial practice is an advantage.
- Prior experience as a Company Secretary or in a similar corporate governance role, preferably within consulting, engineering or professional services.
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance, statutory records and board procedures.
- Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication abilities.
- High integrity, discretion and attention to detail when handling confidential information.
