Computational Designer

About the role

We are seeking a Computational Designer with a strong background in architecture or interior design. The role focuses on using parametric modelling, automation, and performance analysis to create innovative, data‑driven design solutions for architectural and interior projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop tools that optimise design workflows and automate repetitive tasks.
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, engineers and other stakeholders to embed computational methods into the design process.
• Use parametric modelling platforms such as Rhino + Grasshopper and Dynamo to explore generative design options.
• Create automation scripts and applications with C# and Python.
• Conduct performance analysis to support data‑driven design decisions.
• Maintain standards and best practices within the team to ensure scalability and efficiency.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging technologies, AI‑driven tools and digital fabrication techniques.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Computational Design or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in computational design and at least 7 years of overall professional experience.
• Strong understanding of architectural and interior design principles, building systems, materials and construction techniques.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for multidisciplinary teamwork.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering high‑quality results.

Required skills

• Parametric modelling tools: Rhino, Grasshopper, Dynamo.
• Programming/scripting: C#, Python.
• BIM integration: Revit and interoperability with computational tools.
