Construction Accountant

About the role

Khater Sports Group is looking for a seasoned accounting professional to manage the financial operations of its construction projects in Cairo. The Construction Accountant will act as the financial backbone for multiple ventures, ensuring accurate cost tracking, budgeting, and compliance with accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all financial transactions related to construction projects, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare detailed financial statements, project reports, and budget analyses.
• Monitor project costs against budgets, identify variances, and implement cost‑control measures.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and operational teams to provide accurate financial forecasting and reporting.
• Conduct regular internal audits and support external audit processes.
• Manage cash flow and financial projections for ongoing construction initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in construction accounting or a similar finance role.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy and detail.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, on‑site environment.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with project teams and auditors.
