Construction Manager

About the role

The Construction Manager will lead all on‑site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards. This role coordinates with project managers, engineers, subcontractors and stakeholders to drive successful project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and schedule construction operations, defining intermediate phases to meet deadlines.
• Prepare and submit detailed project budget estimates.
• Manage contracts, monitor performance and ensure targets are achieved.
• Produce progress reports and schedules for the Project Manager.
• Supervise day‑to‑day site activities, enforcing adherence to plans, schedules and HSE regulations.
• Implement construction methodologies, work programs and allocate resources effectively.
• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors and consultants to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor site productivity, performance against milestones and conduct quality inspections.
• Review and approve method statements, shop drawings and work permits.
• Manage site logistics, manpower distribution and material utilization.
• Identify risks, propose mitigation measures and keep projects on track.
• Maintain clear communication with all project stakeholders and support documentation and hand‑over processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant construction industry experience.
• At least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Strong project management, commercial acumen and analytical problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
