Continuous Improvement and Quality Engineer

About the role

The Continuous Improvement and Quality Engineer will lead the implementation and enhancement of the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure food safety, consumer safety, and regulatory compliance. The role focuses on data‑driven improvement, process capability, and cross‑functional collaboration to boost operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Drive implementation and continuous improvement of the QMS, ensuring compliance with HACCP, GMP, Halal and other standards.
• Collect, analyse and interpret quality performance data using Quality Loss Trees, KPIs and statistical tools to identify losses and root causes.
• Lead process capability studies and advanced statistical analyses to keep manufacturing and filling processes within specification limits.
• Lead continuous‑improvement projects targeting waste reduction, OEE improvement and operational efficiency.
• Monitor product fill control parameters, minimise giveaway and variability, and improve production efficiency.
• Utilise ERP systems, IT tools and CI methodologies to reduce quality losses and support data‑driven decisions.
• Conduct internal quality audits, support external certification audits and maintain QMS compliance.
• Manage product traceability, non‑conforming materials, quality incidents and corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field; Industrial Management Engineering is a plus.
• 2‑4 years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement, preferably in the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of QMS, HACCP, GMP, quality audits and food‑safety standards.
• Experience with data analysis, KPI monitoring and continuous‑improvement tools.
