Contract Manager (M/F)

About the role

The Contract Manager will support the delivery of rail infrastructure projects by overseeing all contractual aspects from administration to dispute resolution. You will work closely with project teams, clients, consultants and subcontractors to ensure contracts are executed in line with obligations and commercial targets.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and monitor project contracts, reviewing conditions, identifying risks and ensuring compliance across all activities.
• Draft, review and manage all contractual correspondence with clients, consultants and subcontractors, maintaining registers and meeting deadlines.
• Prepare, evaluate and manage Extension of Time, disruption, prolongation and additional cost claims, providing detailed notices and supporting documentation.
• Manage variation orders and change requests, assessing commercial impact, negotiating with clients and engineers, and tracking approvals.
• Draft, review and administer subcontract agreements, monitor subcontractor compliance, and resolve related claims or payment issues.
• Support commercial performance by identifying opportunities and risks, participating in progress meetings and providing contractual advice to project teams.
