Contracts Management Specialist

About the role

As a Contracts Management Specialist you will support Schneider Electric’s MEA region from Cairo, driving contract governance and risk management across tendering and delivery phases. You will work closely with legal, finance and project teams to secure tenders, manage contract changes and protect the company’s commercial interests.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyse contractual terms to ensure they align with company standards and risk appetite.
• Lead negotiations with clients, partners and subcontractors to achieve favourable commercial outcomes.
• Support bid preparation and approval processes, ensuring compliance with corporate governance.
• Draft and review contractual communications to safeguard Schneider Electric’s rights and obligations.
• Identify, assess and mitigate contractual risks while maximising commercial opportunities.
• Manage contract variations, scope changes and schedule adjustments through formal amendments and change orders.
• Develop and execute claims strategies, including preparation, substantiation and defence of claims.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Law, Construction, Finance or Supply Chain Management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in contract management or a closely related field.
• Professional certification in contract management is a strong advantage.
• Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
