Cost Accountant – Restaurants & F&B

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cost Accountant to join our restaurant and F&B operations in Qalyub. The role focuses on controlling food and beverage costs, inventory, and profitability across multiple branches.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly P&L reports and analyse financial performance.
• Monitor food cost, COGS, recipe and menu costing, and investigate variances.
• Oversee inventory movements, conduct physical counts, reconcile with Foodics, and report discrepancies.
• Analyse profitability by product, category and branch, supporting pricing decisions.
• Perform bank reconciliations, supplier account follow‑up and support month‑end closing.
• Collaborate with operations, purchasing, warehouses and branch managers to improve cost efficiency.

Required profile

• 3–10 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in restaurants, cafés or the F&B sector.
• Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of variance analysis.
• Hands‑on experience with Foodics or a similar restaurant POS and management system.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams and communicate findings to management.
