Counter Sales Associate

About the role

Dawam Business Solutions is hiring a full-time Counter Sales Associate in Greater Cairo. The associate sells displayed food items, organizes counter operations and makes sure all orders are prepared and served on time.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and serve walk-in customers with high-quality service based on product knowledge and established procedures.
• Process orders from waiters, arrange them to service standards and deliver them on time.
• Receive daily orders, check items against specifications, display them in the presentation fridge, restock regularly and keep hygiene and presentation standards.
• Take part in opening and closing duties in line with internal procedures.
• Maintain and report records such as daily training records, taste panels and wastage forms, and report complaints or issues to the manager.
• Handle cash payments, exchanges and transactions in line with policy, and place orders for needed products.
• Prepare takeaway orders to standard and accommodate special customer requests.
• Communicate operational details to the team during handovers recorded in the logbook.
• Keep the counter clean, following the "clean as you go" policy and regular sanitization, and complete monthly inventory of disposable items.

Required profile

• High school degree.
• Zero to one year of experience in customer service or a similar role.
