Creative Strategist

About the role

We are expanding our direct‑to‑consumer sock brand, Locarno, in Egypt and need a Creative Strategist to shape the brand’s communication from the ground up. As the first dedicated creative hire, you will own the ideas that drive growth and work closely with our performance‑marketing team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop ad angles and creative concepts rooted in our manufacturing story, product quality and real customer problems.
• Write briefs for user‑generated‑content (UGC) creators and manage content production end‑to‑end.
• Scout, recruit and maintain a roster of UGC creators to bring diverse angles to life.
• Analyze Meta ad performance (ROAS, CPP, CTR, CVR) and decide what to test next.
• Keep the creative pipeline full with 3‑5 ready‑to‑launch concepts at any time.
• Research global DTC trends and adapt successful tactics for the Egyptian market.

Required profile

• Experience in performance marketing, a DTC brand or media buying environment.
• Strong understanding of what makes users stop scrolling and engage.
• Ability to think in hooks, human problems and emotions.
• Comfortable reading and interpreting ad metrics such as ROAS, CPP, CTR and CVR.
• Proactive, opinionated and able to work without constant direction.
• Can commute daily to Sheikh Zayed.
