Credit Accountant

About the role

The Credit Accountant will ensure accurate recording and processing of financial transactions, maintain organized financial records, and support the finance team in delivering timely reports. This position is based at Galae Square in Cairo and reports to the finance supervisor.

Key responsibilities

• Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper coding.
• Organize, secure, and maintain files, records, cash, and cash equivalents in line with company policies.
• Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information.
• Maintain accurate electronic spreadsheets for financial and accounting data.
• Classify, code, and summarize numerical data using journals, ledgers, or computer systems.
• Prepare, maintain, and distribute financial, accounting, auditing, and payroll reports.
• Complete period‑end closing procedures and related reports.
• Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements.
• Follow all company policies, protect confidential information, and support guest service needs.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related accounting or finance experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift objects up to 10 lb without assistance.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial data management.
