Credit Analyst (AMEA Region)

About the role

HMD is seeking a motivated finance professional to lead the Credit Analyst function for the AMEA region. Reporting to the AMEA CFO, the role will work closely with the global credit team and local business units to manage credit risk and ensure timely collection of receivables.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer credit limits and support finance solutions.
• Analyse daily customer account status and collect receivables to guarantee on‑time payments.
• Validate and maintain accurate customer master data in the ERP system.
• Coordinate with the Global Credit team on collateral issuance, renewal and exception approvals.
• Perform credit checks for order releases in the Sales ERP and handle exception requests.
• Calculate and communicate finance incentives, assess refunds and process related transactions.
• Oversee cash‑flow management for IHL business mode and monitor financing programs such as SOR.
• Generate customer statements of account on a weekly or bi‑weekly basis and communicate payment shortfalls.
• Submit clearing instructions to the Cash Apps team and track dispute resolution.
• Run compliance reports, maintain documentation, and support internal and external audit requests.

Required profile

• BS/BA degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a credit function within a global environment.
• Strong understanding of credit management, collections, and ERP processes.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems for credit checks and master data maintenance.
