Customer Demand Planning Team Leader

About the role

LEONI, a global provider of products, solutions and services for energy and data management in the automotive industry, is looking for a Customer Demand Planning Team Leader in Nasr City. The role manages and supervises the Customer Demand Planning organisation unit according to defined objectives and KPIs, and leads the direct reports.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the Customer Demand Planning unit according to objectives and KPIs, and identify improvement opportunities and contribute to better service delivery.
• Take responsibility for standards and governance adherence and process execution.
• Lead direct reports, plan regular team activities, define objectives, tasks and responsibilities, and monitor and evaluate results.
• Identify training and development needs of direct reports and support their use of new knowledge.
• Propose and apply measures for improving team performance, organisational flexibility, diversity, succession planning, coaching, change management and personal growth.
• Support the management of customer relationships (RFQ, demand understanding, red alerts, SC disruptions).
• Validate the MPS inside the production facility and ensure OTIF deliveries while respecting customer demand at the optimum cost level.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in operations, manufacturing or a related environment, including proven supervisory experience as a Team Leader, Segment Leader or similar.
• Strong experience monitoring operational KPIs, service delivery and team performance against targets.
• Good understanding of process execution and operational procedures, and proactive identification of improvement opportunities.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills, and strong leadership and communication skills with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Good command of English, written and spoken, with strong professional communication and reporting skills.
