Customer Excellence Systems (ACES) Specialist – Ultra Fast Grocery

About the role

Amazon Ultra Fast Grocery (UFG) is building a new organization to launch innovative grocery models across MENA. We are seeking an experienced ACES Specialist to drive process excellence, improve store performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the UFG store improvement plan to deliver the best customer experience at the lowest cost.
• Develop a culture of continuous improvement and lean thinking across stores.
• Facilitate Kaizen activities and implement Lean Standard Work and SOPs.
• Train and support all levels in Kaizen and lean methodologies.
• Coordinate the Leadership Steering Committee (LSC) and prioritize process‑improvement activities.
• Lead daily Gemba walks, identify root causes, and implement data‑driven countermeasures.
• Standardize processes to Amazon and MENA/ECCF benchmark standards.
• Maintain strong relationships with process owners and third‑party stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with experience in a customer‑facing, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel to multiple stores within Egypt.
• Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing or Six Sigma is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, PDCA and Six Sigma principles.
• Ability to create data‑driven arguments and conduct root‑cause analysis.
