Customer Service & Logistics Executive - Chemicals

About the role

We are seeking a Customer Service & Logistics Executive to oversee end‑to‑end customer service operations and coordinate both local and export logistics for our chemicals business. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will act as the main liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring timely order fulfillment and compliance with Egyptian export regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer accounts and master data in SAP, create and maintain pricing, and process orders.
• Review Letters of Credit, coordinate amendments, and monitor order status, providing regular updates to key accounts.
• Prepare invoices, follow up on outstanding balances, and handle customer complaints to ensure resolution.
• Coordinate export shipments and local deliveries, obtain freight quotations, and work with freight forwarders.
• Review freight invoices, monitor logistics costs, and evaluate forwarder performance.
• Ensure compliance with Egyptian export regulations and manage documentation for drawback and export subsidy claims.
• Track and report on‑time‑in‑full (OTIF) delivery, on‑time shipment performance, and freight cost optimization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in customer service, logistics, supply chain or export operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of SAP ERP and familiarity with import/export documentation and Egyptian export regulations.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
