Cyber GRC Manager (German Speaker)

About the role

PwC's Cyber Risk & Strategy team helps organisations understand and manage the risks of using technology and digital services. As a (Senior) Manager, you will lead engagements that answer practical questions such as whether key systems are sufficiently protected, whether the right controls are in place, where the biggest risks lie and whether regulatory and industry expectations are met. The role is based in Cairo.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client engagements from start to finish: define the workplan, shape the assessment approach and take responsibility for delivery quality and outcomes.
• Help clients identify what matters most by understanding their business, technology landscape and risk exposure.
• Translate regulations, standards and control expectations into practical actions clients can implement.
• Discuss findings with management, explain their implications and help clients decide how to respond.
• Develop governance models, control frameworks, strategies, remediation plans and transformation roadmaps.
• Set direction, review outputs, coach team members and ensure consistent quality across workstreams.
• Build long-term client relationships and contribute to new offerings, methodologies, proposals and capability development.

Required profile

• Typically 7-12+ years of experience in cyber risk, technology risk, governance, compliance, IT audit, strategy development or related consulting areas.
• Able to turn complex client problems into structured approaches, clear conclusions and realistic actions.
• Comfortable leading teams, challenging senior stakeholders and taking responsibility for the overall quality and direction of an engagement.
• Strong communication and judgment, able to explain complex risk topics in business terms and balance regulatory expectations with practical realities.
• Experience in cyber governance, risk and control assessments, regulatory compliance, third-party risk or technology transformation is valuable; relevant certifications are an advantage.
