Cyber Security Cloud Security Senior Manager

About the role

PwC's advisory practice is looking for experienced cyber security architects at manager level to join its Cyber Security practice. The role focuses on cloud security, designing, implementing and strengthening the security posture of clients' cloud environments (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS) together with one or more cloud service providers. It is a global role with teams in the UK, Germany and other Middle Eastern countries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and guide the team on important issues and contribute significantly to project success
• Manage and deliver cyber security and cyber risk assignments, including documentation, reports and quality assurance of junior team members' work
• Write cyber security strategies aligned with clients' business situation and objectives
• Design cyber security services and architectures that build strong security capabilities
• Keep abreast of business and industry trends and their impact on cyber risk responses
• Build client relationships, support senior colleagues with proposals and solution offerings, and help develop security architecture toolkits, methodologies and accelerators
• Help retain and develop other team members

Required profile

• University degree, preferably in computer and information science, business informatics, computer engineering, cyber security, information technology or management information systems
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience across a broad range of cyber and information security skills (the text also states a minimum of 15 years)
• Experience in consulting or in multinational environments
• Excellent oral and written English; German is a plus
• Leadership experience is an advantage; business development or sales experience is desirable

Required skills

• Strong practical experience in infrastructure and cloud platform security
• Knowledge of methods and frameworks such as SABSA, TOGAF and NIST CSF
• Knowledge of cloud service providers and cloud-native security technologies
• Professional certification such as CISSP, SABSA or TOGAF is desirable
• Experience in agile teams and in advising on cyber security strategy, risk and technical matters
