Cyber Security Cyber Risk Associate

About the role

PwC's cyber security practice advises clients on strategy, risk and governance, with deep technical implementation and assurance expertise. This Cyber Security Cyber Risk Associate role works with a global mindset alongside teams in the UK, Germany and other Middle Eastern countries, advising leading industrial companies on governance, risk and compliance (GRC) topics.

Key responsibilities

• Support cyber security assessments and audits against industry frameworks and controls, including regulatory compliance, Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) and program maturity assessments, and benchmark results against industry standards
• Take part in developing, reviewing and maintaining cyber security policies, standards and procedures
• Work in a fast-paced, unstructured environment and interact with senior colleagues across multiple time zones

Required profile

• At least 1 year of relevant experience for Associate, 3 years for Senior Associate
• University degree, preferably in computer and information science, business informatics, data science, cyber security, IT, MIS or related fields
• Cyber security certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001) are a plus
• Open-minded, self-starter, able to multi-task and prioritise, with excellent oral and written English
• Willingness to learn new subjects and travel not specified

Required skills

• Knowledge of GRC and common frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF and PCI DSS
• Experience of cyber security audits, assessments and policy definition
• Consulting or multinational environment experience
