Cyber Security Tech Senior Specialist

About the role

Vodafone is looking for a senior specialist to lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of our cyber security technology landscape. You will work across network, cloud and enterprise services to ensure security is built‑in, compliant and future‑ready.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute technology and tools planning strategies that meet local, global and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with architecture teams to ensure network security designs comply with security standards.
• Drive Secure by Design initiatives for all new network and cloud solutions.
• Evaluate emerging security products and recommend adoption to strengthen public‑cloud security.
• Provide consultancy, high‑level and low‑level designs, and manage implementation for internal and external customers.
• Apply Vodafone security controls across IaaS, PaaS and SaaS cloud tiers.
• Support enterprise business services, both cloud and non‑cloud, with robust security measures.
• Maintain and expand capacity planning for all cybersecurity tools to ensure scalability.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in IT network security within a large telecom or similar environment.
• Proven ability to lead security‑focused projects from concept through delivery.
• Strong analytical skills to translate client requirements into technical security offers.
• Excellent collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams, vendors and product owners.
