Cybersecurity - Data Privacy Senior Associate

About the role

PwC's Cybersecurity and Digital Trust practice in Cairo is looking for a Senior Associate to join its Digital & Cyber Business Unit. The role works under the supervision of cybersecurity leadership and supports clients through strategy-based transformation projects, helping them protect sensitive data and build secure systems. It is open to consultants who want to shape cybersecurity positively in the GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Help establish data privacy functions in government and private organizations and act as a privacy advisor on compliance needs.
• Lead the development of data privacy governance structures, policies and procedures, and support compliance implementation and related technologies.
• Manage projects end to end, covering budget management, internal process clearing and stakeholder management.
• Support partners and directors in business development, including technical proposals, budgets and client presentations.
• Work with colleagues across Middle Eastern offices and international teams to research emerging data privacy and governance technologies and share knowledge internally and with clients.

Required profile

• Experience running large-scale data governance and data privacy implementation engagements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Arabic.
• Ability to prioritize work, cope under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proven IT skills in Microsoft Office and G-suite applications.
• Ability to learn new concepts and carry out technical research.
• Structured problem-solving approach.
