Cybersecurity Risk Technology Associate

About the role

PwC is opening a new Technology and Innovation Centre in Cairo, offering clients worldwide services from packaged applications (SAP and Oracle) to cyber security, data analytics, custom development and cloud services (AWS, Azure and Google). The Cyber Risk Associate works with a global mindset alongside teams in the UK, Germany and other Middle Eastern countries, advising leading industrial companies on governance, risk and compliance (GRC) topics.

Key responsibilities

• Support cyber security assessments and audits against industry frameworks and controls, including regulatory compliance, Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) and program maturity assessments, using benchmarking tools and reporting results against industry standards.
• Take part in developing, reviewing and maintaining cyber security policies, standards and procedures.
• Work in a fast-paced, unstructured environment and interact efficiently with senior colleagues across multiple time zones.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Good knowledge of GRC and of frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF and PCI DSS.
• Experience in cyber security audits, assessments and in defining cyber security policies, standards and procedures.
• Consulting or multinational environment experience, excellent communication and presentation skills, and excellent oral and written English.
• Willingness to travel to Saudi Arabia is a must.
• University degree, preferably in computer and information science, business informatics, data science, cyber security, information technology or management information systems; certifications such as CISSP or CISM are a plus.
