Cybersecurity Senior Auditor

About the role

One Bank Ltd, the pioneer of Egypt's first digital native bank, is seeking a Cybersecurity Senior Auditor to join its internal audit team. The role focuses on executing risk‑based cybersecurity audit engagements, providing independent assurance on the design and operating effectiveness of controls, and supporting the annual audit plan.

Key responsibilities

• Execute assigned cybersecurity audit engagements in line with the approved audit plan, Internal Audit methodology, IIA Standards and relevant regulations.
• Assess the design and operating effectiveness of cybersecurity controls across infrastructure, applications, cloud environments, databases and information assets.
• Evaluate compliance with the bank’s cybersecurity policies, standards, regulatory requirements and industry best practices, identifying gaps and vulnerabilities.
• Identify cyber risks and control weaknesses, analyse business impact and propose practical, risk‑based recommendations.
• Follow up with auditees to obtain action plans and review them with the senior manager for adequacy.
• Participate in cybersecurity investigations, advisory engagements and special reviews as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in information security or IT audit with a focus on cybersecurity.
• Demonstrated knowledge of applicable standards, frameworks, laws and regulations related to information security.
• Experience auditing security and privacy controls.
