About the role

As a Data Engineer specializing in Data Integration at IBM Consulting, you will design and build solutions that move data from operational and external sources into the business intelligence environment. You will work with industry‑leading tools to develop robust ETL processes that ensure reliable data flow across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design data integration solutions using tools such as Informatica, Ab Initio, and DataStage.
• Develop and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data.
• Ensure seamless data flow throughout the business intelligence solution lifecycle.
• Support the business intelligence environment by maintaining data pipelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical designs.

Required profile

• Experience with data integration tools (Informatica, Ab Initio, DataStage).
• Proven ability to design and implement ETL processes.
• Familiarity with business intelligence environments and data flow management.
• Exposure to designing solutions that transfer data from operational and external systems.
