About the role

IBM Consulting is seeking a Data Engineer specialized in Data Platforms and Databricks to help clients build and scale their Data and AI solutions. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to design, develop, and deploy robust data pipelines on the Databricks platform.

Key responsibilities

• Implement data and AI use cases on Databricks, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
• Design, develop, and deploy scalable data pipelines and architectures that meet business requirements.
• Continuously enhance the Databricks platform to support evolving client needs and emerging industry trends.
• Stay up‑to‑date with new Databricks features, best practices, and cloud‑based data engineering developments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience implementing data and AI solutions on the Databricks platform.
• Solid understanding of data engineering principles in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and platforms relevant to data engineering.
